Water Polo Events for the 2025/26 Season!

Townsville Water Polo are seeking expressions of interest for the premier regional competitive events of the season.

Junior Country Championships: Gold Coast Aquatic Centre - Sat 14th - Sun 15th of December 2024:

The Water Polo Queensland Junior Country Championships will see male and female athletes compete in U12, U14, U16 & U19 Age Groups at Gold Coast Aquatic Centre. Bringing athletes Cairns to the Gold Coast together for the biggest regional junior event of the season.

If we do not get enough to field our own teams in these events, if you have expressed interest and still want to play we can ensure that you will still be able to play at these events as either an individual draft or in a composite team. The quicker we get an idea on numbers the quicker we can organise transport, accomodation, uniforms and all round fun times!

Senior Country Championships: Mackay 13th-15th of February 2026:

This competition will be held in Mackay and is the pinnacle of QLD Regional Water Polo. An Open Senior event this brings in teams from the Gold Coast to Cairns to compete in a Mens and Womens Competition. Townsville Water Polo is hoping to enter a mens and womens team in this event. You must be in or before 2010 to be eligible.

Payment plans are available to help with getting you to these events.

Coach and Referee EOI:
